All finishers receive a T-shirt\, medal and professional photos\, and every registration comes with access to the Spartan Account to track your tickets\, race results\, photos\, teams\, and challenges.   \nSpectator tickets are $20 per person if you purchase your ticket ahead of time and they will be $25 per person at the gate.  We hope to see you there! \nSign Up Here\nPurchasing Pastured Meat  –  \nYou will also be able to take home our grassfed and pasture-raised meats. We recommend purchasing your meat order ahead of time by visiting our ONLINE STORE and selecting “Spartan Race Pick-up” at checkout.  Our meats are frozen and will stay solid in a cooler for 4-6 hours and for 4 hours in our insulated bags that are available on our online store. \nAbout the Ranch –  \nPaicines Ranch is a historic 7\,600-acre ranch that uses regenerative agricultural principles to regenerate ecosystems while growing delicious\, healthy\, nutritious food for our community. The Spartan Race will be held on 600 acres of the ranch. We practice Holistic Management and planned grazing while producing 100% grass-fed-and-finished lamb and beef and pastured pork and turkey. Using animal integration in cropping systems\, our 25-acre polyculture vineyard is designed to be “managed” by sheep through grazing and pruning. DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a fun evening of wood-fired pizza and a musical performance by Max Embers and Michael Martinez on Sunday\, May 28th at the Bandstand!  Pizza will be served from 5-6:30 pm and Max and Michael will perform from 6:30-8:30 pm! \nWe encourage you to bring blankets\, chairs and anything else you need to make yourself comfortable on the lawn! Limited tables will also be provided. We will have a cash bar and ID’s will be checked.  Popcorn and cotton candy will be available for purchase! \nAdult tickets – $30 (includes a personal pizza – choose between a meat pizza/margherita pizza) \nKids tickets (12 and under) – $20 (includes a child’s cheese pizza) \n$10 of each ticket sold will be donated to MORF (Music on Regenerative Farms) – Max and Michael’s initiative that is helping raise awareness about the benefits of regenerative agriculture\, including building healthy soils and mitigating climate change. \nSales tax included in pricing. \nTICKETS AVAILABLE HERE

DESCRIPTION:The Paicines Ranch Learning Center is excited to welcome Scott Wall and Jenny Garley of NEW AGE Laboratories in leading a half-day farmer workshop on June 28! \nSap analysis is a powerful tool for growers wanting to accurately gauge their crop health and nutritional needs during the growing season. This workshop will provide the foundational understanding on how to use sap analysis to grow healthy and highly productive plants. \nScott Wall and Jenny Garley are the President and the Chief Science Officer at New Age Laboratories – one of only three labs offering sap analysis in the US. They will share what they have learned through years of experience and from providing sap analysis as a service to growers around the world. \nContent will include explanation of what sap analysis is\, how it differs from tissue analysis\, and how nutrient mobility in plants allows us to identify nutrient deficiencies well before physical symptoms arise. Participants will learn about the synergies and antagonism between anions and cations\, macro- and micro-nutrients\, and how sap tests help to determine if their plants are using nitrogen efficiently. In addition to basic sampling protocols\, the session will also include a review of sap analysis reports so that everyone can hone their skills in interpreting the results and what fertility adjustments would be reasonable to consider. \nThe session will conclude with Q&A\, followed by a delicious\, locally-sourced lunch by Paicines Chef Carlos and Chef Nancy after the workshop concludes. \nMore info & registration HERE >>
